Chief Keef Has Been Announced As A Performer For The BET Awards After Being Banned In 2013

It’s been announced that Chief Keef will be hitting the stage at this years BET Awards.

After a 10 year ban, Bet finally decided to allow the Chicago native to be apart of the long going celebration. With his contribution to today’s music, it just left some puzzled on why it has taken this long.

The “I Don’t Like” rapper, is easily considered The Godfather of Drill music. Besides being known for his hits , he also brought us notable talent such as Lil Reese , Fredo Santana (RIP), and producer Young Chop, and people may be familiar with his public love hate relationship with fellow O Block member Lil Durk, its clear that he earned his spot.

Bet has released the full line up of performers, and the list includes: Chief Keef , Lil Uzi Vert, Glorilla, Coco Jones, E-40, and more. This year Bet is celebrating 50 years of Hip-Hop so it’s going to be one to remember.
